Core Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities of the Treasury
1. Maintaining CSM Market Liquidity
Deploys assets into Automated Market Maker (AMM) pools.
Strategically manages liquidity positions and engages in market operations.
Ensures sufficient depth for CSM trading pairs across decentralized exchanges (DEXs), minimizing slippage and improving user trading experience.
2. Stabilizing the CSM Price Mechanism
Intervenes when CSM's price deviates outside the designated target range — in alignment with the Dynamic Stability Mechanism (DSM).
Conducts buybacks or minting operations as needed to maintain relative price stability.
Leverages reserve assets to strengthen market confidence in CSM’s value.
3. Optimizing Reserve Asset Yields
Deploys Treasury assets into low-risk DeFi strategies, such as:
Staking
Lending
Stablecoin yield farming
Utilizes returns to:
Support protocol development
Share Treasury revenue with veCSM holders
Conduct buybacks and token burns to reinforce CSM’s deflationary pressure
