Governance Token

veCSM (vote-escrowed CSM) is the core governance token of CosmBank. It is obtained by locking CSM, and represents long-term voting power within the protocol.

Primary Use Cases:

• Governance Voting Participate in protocol decisions such as parameter updates, module upgrades, and fund allocation.

• Collateral for Flexi Loan veCSM may also be used as collateral to borrow stablecoins (e.g., USDT, USDC) via the CosmBank Flexi Loan.

How to Obtain veCSM

• Users lock CSM tokens to receive veCSM.

• The longer the lock period, the more veCSM is minted (linear multiplier).

• When the lock expires, veCSM is automatically burned and users reclaim their CSM.

veCSM aligns long-term commitment with governance influence — ensuring that those who shape the protocol have skin in the game.
